Federico Pace (Rome, 1967) is a writer and journalist. He has written reports, stories, podcasts and narratives for numerous publications. He coordinates publishing initiatives to encourage writing among young people. He has published four collections of short stories for Einaudi: Senza volo, Controvento, Scintille and La più bella estate. For Laterza, the two books La libertà viaggia in treno and Passaggi segreti. His bestseller Controvento was defined by Vanja Luksic of the French weekly L’Express as ‘Intense and surprising’. With Scintille he won the International Literature Prize Città di Como and the Ceppo Selezione Racconto 2020 Prize. His latest book is Ogni cosa aveva un colore (Einaudi, 2025).
